The plastic stocked ones looks like the old RamLine stocks from the last century.
Those do take to glass bedding well, and if you fill the hollow butt with sprayed-in foam it makes them quieter to beat around with in the woods.
I would take any of those, walnut or no, if chambered in .458 Win. Magnum.

You are welcome. I agree, they are all nice rifles. You are correct in that the stocks on the 458's do look like Ramline. They are definitely serviceable with a little work. Man, the bores on those rifles are like new!!!!! I thought about it and thought about it and decided to go home without any of them. I bought a nice rifle at a different gunshop earlier that day. I don't know what stock the 30-06 had on it though???
