A nice combination for a minimalist (and very careful!) hunter. Did you see what make it was? O/U or drilling?

Life member NRA I prefer classic. Semper Fi - SGT I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise.

That’s sounds like an interesting one. Any more specifics? Maker, configuration, location?
Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.

What a useless combination! Ammo is hard to find. Can't use it in Africa for dangerous game. If you go on that dream trip for big whitetails where it's slugs or archery only, you won't be able to use it. The 25/35 is useless for commonly taken 400 yard shots on elk. The twenty eight would be a poor choice for Canada goose hunt. The gun is probably light and quick handling, really not best for deliberate shooting. Probably handmade German or Austrian, made of old engraved steel and walnut, so there's the potential for wear and rust and no factoryservice drop in parts, unlike a recent stainless and composite. With all those problems, it should be cheap! Maybe you should buy it and send it to me for safe keeping, just to keep someone from getting in trouble with their financial manager for dragging another gun home. Just looking out for others best interests. Darn, I'd love to have that combo. Bfly

L2S, I was working on an old back action lock and a tiny spring fell out. I crawled under my reloading bench and got stuck! I was there a couple weeks before my wife noticed I was missing. She says she put a note on the refrigerator that said I was missing, but had no response. I guess my old Brit ran out of treats. He crawled under the reloading bench and dragged me out to get the treat that was in my pocket! Bfly

I have a 22WCF/28 gauge that needs a little repair work done and restocked (buttstock)……..I think it’ll be a pretty cool little gun…..if only there was more time in the day🤔. Don’t know what I’d use it for but it sure is a beautiful little combo!

German made by Krausse & Schemmer $2500. condition is not as bad as I thought it is. (G I ) , hand loaded 28ga, be a good yote gun in some areas, where a shot shell would work for quick close shots

I just looked at it. The dealer is dead honest, and the gun is older and in good condition from the photos. And...it weighs only 5 pounds 6 ounces! What a nice walking around gun that little gun would make. It is obviously older, judging from the forend wedge.
IMO it's worth the price.

On the surface, a 28ga might seem too specialized, but several years ago I bought several boxes of South American 2 1/2" lead BB loads, there is a custom loader selling 28ga #2 Buckshot online, and there are Brenneke slugs.
