Any powder you can find or that you already have that's similar burn rate to Varget, R-15, or any of the 4895's. From a 22" bbl you should find good accuracy +/- 25fps from 2800.

I can walk on water.......................but I do stagger a bit on alcohol.

Been a while but finally scored some a pound of Varget and a pound of 8208 XBR. Now the question is what seating depth. My tikka has the LA bolt stop and LA mag and when checking with a once fired rem brass, my COAL is 2.880. I have read where some say touch the lands to seat out as far as possible. Some say back off .005" - .020".

Seat to magazine length....as long as it is not jammed into lands. Then work back, seating bullet deeper if it isn't giving acceptable accuracy.
