I have a Sendero in 7mm ultra, like it a lot! It’s the rifle in the middle, 26 Nosler on top, 300 win mag on bottom.

Back 10-12 years ago a guy on long range hunting website built a 7rum with a 34'' Pacnor barrel on it. Folks commented they didn't know barrels that long were available. A member chimed in and showed a picture of a 40'' Pacnor barrel , I forget the details of that build.
The 34'' barrel 7rum was a mean machine, it zing'd heavy for caliber bullets real fast. It blew 7mm mag, 26'' barrel ballistics away.

I usually just blow off the RUM rounds as being far too inefficient for the powder, components, and recoil investment. However, with a very long barrel and a bucket full of slow burning powder it may be worthwhile to try. Especially with all the new high BC bullets available to go with the properly twisted, high quality barrels you can get these days...

Hodgdon 869 and slower powders maybe BMG stuff, 190gr.+ bullets, 8tw.
