looking for opinions about the best color to paint the inside of my open fishing boat.
did the last one up in off white,found it was like sitting in a big reflector dish.
Likewise,when I had the rubber sheet floor,it was really hot.

White cleans up easily and I liked it in the Salmon boats.
I also put down mats that I bought at Menards.

If you don't like the white, how about a light grey trunk spatter pattern? Rough surface would be a good traction helper too.

Oddly enough, I found the darker colors to be both less reflective and easier to locate dropped lures and hooks and such.

I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.
