Any of you have contacts up in Prudhoe who might have seen or heard the activity? The latest news says the object, about the size of a small car, was cylindrical and silver/gray.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was a PR ploy to make Biden look good for ordering an unknown object in US airspace to be shot down before it takes a voyage over the entire country. Pentagon spokesman John Kirby, emphasized that Biden is dedicated to the protection of all US citizens and defend against external Blah Blah..........
I don't believe anything the federal government says or does these days.

Imagine that, they shot down 3 balloons in 3 days and none of them landed on anybody. But the first one was allowed to cross the entire continent because they were worried about hitting someone on the ground.
And what's all this BS about "an unidentified cylindrical object"? They keep calling it that when we're all pretty sure that it's a balloon. I think they're calling it that because it sounds scarier.

How can you legally shoot down something you don't have a clue what it is....... experimental aircraft or other things. its all government lies. Think stealth balloons. Chinese are testing balloon shapes to see which ones can evade our radar the best. Remember it takes a while for these balloons to reach our coast--they may have been released before all this "hullaballoon" started last week.
According to a retired RCAF officer who worked at NORAD in the Springs it appears China is now shooting down some of their own balloons before they get out of Chinese airspace because they know the gig is up.
