This is brought to you by the people who painted Trump as a fascist dictator with no respect for sacred government institutions. Yup. Where is antifa? (rhetorical)

The irony is that they were TDS +P. Now there is a real fascist sitting where DJT should be. Protest that, bitches.

Appears to me the executive branch is saying we won't enforce the Constitution on this issue. I suppose the executive branch has the ability to selectively enforce the law, they have done it locally during the Antifa and BLM riots. I guess the next step is for someone to file a law suit requesting they follow the SC ruling, or maybe contempt of court charges. Is contempt of court punishable by executIon? Anyone venture to guess where it goes from here? Don’t worry if Biden is charged with contempt of court, Merrick Garland will arrest and incarcerate Biden PDQ, guaranteed!

The way I understand it, the Supreme Court decided abortion is not a right guaranteed to women, it is a state's issue and each state is free to decide how they will deal with it. The executive order says that abortion is legal on federal property within the individual states and/or the federal government will not prosecute abortions performed on federal property. This would mean abortions could be performed on military bases, VA hospitals, national forests and national parks, federal monuments and any other federal lands within state boundaries, regardless the state's position on abortion. Am I mistaken? What effect does this really have? Do other federal laws superseded state laws on federal property within a state? Not sure I understand what this really means.

Big deal. One cannot reverse a Supreme Court decision by Executive Order. Any order that tries to do that is unconstitutional.
I have to laugh when Biden lectures on what is constitutional or not. The more he opens his mouth the more it is apparent that he truly did graduate near the bottom of his law class.
I think that zoo gorilla that liked to paint flowers had a more valid legal opinion than Biden.

I must have missed it, did anything in Biden's EO even come close to affecting individual state's rights to pass laws on abortion as those states see fit?
If not, the title of this thread is hysterical and I don't mean "funny."

State law can be enforced on Federal property. I did that many times. Try beating up a private citizen in the post office lobby.

The "order" has no teeth; grandstanding Yep, it's theater. The order does absolutely nothing.

One would think someone in Biden's meager staff would take the time to read the constitution. Unless the document is revised, ABORTION IS A STATE'S RIGHTS ISSUE regardless of his orders.

The left is grasping at straws. It's primarily political grandstanding, which could backfire - "Bigly"! I hope it does, but the conservatives NEED to get out the vote, this election especially.

The dems can still win the abortion debate, except now they have to win it in 36 states. Correct! The Constitution can be amended to make abortion a right if enough of the country wants it to be so. There is a reason it is not easy to ammend the Constitution. There is a provision for doing so. Politicians have been trying to find ways around the law for decades. Kinda like criminals. But I repeat myself. Yep. Open up a Constitutional Convention with those presently in power and see where the 2nd Amendment goes among others. This is why a Constitutional Convention should never be considered. We are the only country in the world with the "Right" to protect ones self from harm and Government over reach ,no other Country has that right and in the interest of keeping it that way, that option should never open
