I just picked up some 50/45 cal for my rossi. I am thinking of shooting the 45 colt 225 grain ftx bullet anyone shoot this combo?

take a kid hunting there will be no greater feeling than to watch them succeed.

Don't see why it wouldn't work for target practice. They're a .452" dia bullet that is the same dia as a SST MZ bullet.

I would imagine that there's better choices for hunting though. The colt is a low fps round.

Idk I like the 325 FTX out of my 450 and it just demolishes deer so I am hoping this one will hold togther. Its for 150 and under. My wife will be carrying it this coming weekend in ny for the MZ season
