I hope Russia crushes the ever-loving schitt out of Ukraine for being a giant kick-back criminal enterprise for the DEMOCRATS and for allowing shady off-the-book/black book chemical/biological weapons-labs.

I wasn't very happy about restocking primers at 8 or 9 cents each over the past few years. I'm old enough to think 3 cents is a fair price.... I'm glad I sucked it up and "over paid" when I did.
This sudden demand is the result of the $100 Billion Congress earmarked for Ukraine.
This amount of money and the massive contracts at stake might also advantage gun control advocates. Particularly, if it's used to leverage the gun industry into silence and retard their 2A advocacy.

Something interesting to think about: a relatively small/geographically contained war between Russia and Ukraine allegedly has ammo manufacturers scrambling to keep up. But in previous, exponentially larger conflicts, our ammo industry not only supplied American troops but served as armorers for most of the western world. If we really wanted to crank out the ammo, we could. But why do that when you can get paid obscenely high government contracts for ammo in more limited quantities that also give you an excuse to gauge your civilian customers?
Added: Yes, I fully understand that during WW2 there was direct production oversight from the federal government for arms and ammo production... but I think you could make a strong case today that most of the major producers would -- or do -- cooperate already without the federal government having to temporarily take them over.
Wonder how many rounds per casualty right now. 10,000….100,000
Tens of thousands dead, hundreds of thousands wounded, God only knows how many will never recover. All because blubbering biden wanted to show how tough he is. Our false government brought this on when there was no need. Hope he suffers the rath and lives in hell.

You think the USA manufacturers give a [bleep] about the citizens of the country when they can make bank on the contracts

No. He wanted to cover his and the democraps crimes in pUkraine. But I otherwise agree with you.

This is not new. The big difference this time is that 2A advocacy is no longer consolidated with the NRA. This advantages 2A advocacy.
