How much difference us there in a Meopta Optika 5 vs an Optika 6 as far as light transmission and clarity?

I have both. This year late season muzzleloader at very last light the Optika6 was a tad bit better than the Optika5. I absolutely love the Optika6, I have 3 of them now and will be buying more.

I just put an Optika6 on a Daniel Defense V7 LW, initial impressions are very good. Right now, I'm putting in 60 hours a week, so I'll have to wait a couple more weeks to see how it goes with it.

I'm thinking of buying another one for a different AR if this one turns out to be what I like.

The only real difference is the 30mm tube on the 6 and that there are so many more reticle choices over the 5 which has a 1-inch tube. The 4-20x50 comes with an illuminated reticle option too. I have both and don't really notice a difference in low-light performance. I hunted all this year with the Optika5 3-15x44 PA. I like the Z-Plus reticle for dialing in bullet drops on Strelok Pro. Meopta just came out with the MeoSport R 3-15x50 RD which is their entry-level scope. I just got one and I have posted pics and my impressions thus far on Meopta's Facebook page. I haven't posted my range report thus far but all things went as planned and zero issues. I'll be taking the scope and the .300 WIn it sits on a cow elk hunt this weekend. The MeoSport model has a 30mm tube, illuminated dot reticle and to my eyes, the daylight clarity and brightness is just what you would expect from Meopta.

I noticed you mentioned how bright it gets but not how dim the illumination goes, something far more important than maximum intensity to those who hunt early and late. Have you tried it in low light yet? Also, if you have the info, could you post the subtensions? Last time I looked, they weren't yet posted on the Meopta website. Thanks...and good luck on the hunt!
