He did not mention anything along those lines in our conversations. This is not the first project he has done for me, so perhaps I am grandfathered in. I think it took about 11 months to get this work done, so I could certainly understand if he is choosing to whittle down his backlog.

That said, his work is first rate and I recommend him. His machining appears spot on, although the test will be in the shooting.
