I think it looks good, but it came too late for me. I’m all rifled-up, aside from “novelty” items I might run into here and there, and have everything I need to feed them, probably until the end of time, my time anyway. Can’t see any reason to add this one to the pile here, but y’all go ahead, and I’ll be interested in the results you get. Always happy to see good new stuff, regardless of the source.

Id love to handle one. Afraid by looking at pics it will be similar to the Fieldcrafts, their ergos were way off for me.

Can't get too excited about these. Afraid a close look will reveal today's cheap junk. No thanks.

I'm hoping RemArms manufacturing moving to Georgia will be a big success.

I'm waiting on one in 7mm-08.

Not to sound negative because it’s by far the nicest list of parts and options I’ve seen on a Remington, but these threaded barrels flutted and carbon fiber are a swing and a miss. The 22”-24” barrel guys do not want a suppressor and will not want a threaded barrel. Those who want a threaded barrel for a suppressor do not want a 22”-24” barrel. I don’t know or care what length people want who use a brake….grin?

Very nice list of components and features though. Maybe when they get up and going they could give two offerings like Barrett did. It was pretty clear they were shooters. Offer a longer barrel and a 18” threaded barrel.

A stainless sps dropped in a thanksgiving price greyboe might be a better option for some? A tikka is probably more practical but I know some don’t like the tikka.

Agreed, until I saw the 8 twist 243. So, they learned a little.

Either cut sporter barrels shorter for suppressor use, or don’t bother to thread 22-24” tubes. Double dumb.

On the length vs suppression.... I agree that a shorter barreled version should be produced for dedicated suppressor use. I'm also a fan of standard length barrels being threaded. I like having the option on regular length barrels....if I want to I can use it, if I don't a thread protector doesn't get in my way.

It is good to see some of them being twisted quicker.

If they sell well, there is likely merit in some 18" versions in 6.5, 308, and 223.

Barrels are CM or SS under that coating?

I'd like to see Remington return to her old days of glory, but I seriously doubt it will happen. Seems the majority of gun buyers these days want black plastic rifles. This newest offering from Remington seems to target that group. AFAIC it's just another plastic gun. Nothing to see here, move along. Ymmv.

Price seems a little steep but the AG stock retails for just under $700 so I guess they have to cover that expense somehow.
