My first rifle purchased for me by my Dad with some recent modifications.
Rem 700 Mountain Rifle blueprinted Douglas XX air gauged SS chambered 7-08 Factory stock pillar bedded Barreled action cerakoted graphite black Talley lightweights and Leupold VX2 3-9X40 7.5lbs all up. Kept the factory stock for sentimental reasons being my first rifle. Work done by Tim Smith.
Latest project smithed by Bob Green. Showed up this summer and was put through it's paces this deer season between me and my son in two states. 6 deer, including two great bucks for my boy.
6.5x47 Stiller Predator Action Barltein 8 twist barrel, Rem Mag sporter contour at 22.5" McMillan Classic BDL stock Rem factory bottom metal Jewell trigger Talley rings Nightforce 2.5-10x32 with IHR reticle
Shooting 130 Accubonds which do under 1/2" with H4350 and little effort. Perfect deer rifle I think, I really like this one.
