Same rifle above with a Leupold VX-2 6-18X. The Weaver was not really suitable for hunting...

I got all of my hunting specific blueprints together for a picture When prepping for rifle season. All are documented in the previous pages. However, front front to back: 338 Federal, 35 Whelen, 338-06 A-Square, 300 Win Mag, and 30-06 Springfield.

25x284 - -> 8lb 13oz as shown with vortex razor lh 3-15 g4 bdc Work was done by Diamond T Gunsmithing Win Mod 70 USA CRF trued Trigger: polished with Ernie’s spring Williams claw / two piece steel scope base coated to match / 8-40 screws Bartlein 2b Hunters Edge Brn/brn painted by micky red pad installed there too Bedded in devcon Action: cerakote graphite blk and the barrel was oxide blasted Started life as a 270wsm and I found a new bolt and ejector from Numrichs the claw from brownells. The price on the rifle was cheap enough that with the bolt and Parts I still was able to save some $$$

Wikipedia says blue prints went out in 1975, but I was at company with an operating blue print machine in 1983. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BlueprintAt any big engineering company before then, there were blue print machine operating girls. They bent over and stretched all day. Aerospace companies paying big wages for unskilled blue print machine girls could hire just he pretty ones. And the machine kept them fit. By now blueprint machine operating girls are old grandmas.

The Bart #4 is similar enough to a Proof CF.

I have a safari ks stock and as you know they used a heavy barrel for them. The cf Bart #4 is what I’m eyeing to use in it. I think it’ll be really close! Looks great, congratulations I have been full length bedding the inlets with 4 layers of pvc tape on the barrel…when removed it yields a nice .040 gap…I mainly do this for water egress in snowy nasty freezing weather x)

So far its been a fantastic barrel. One thing though if it matters, the Bart CF isn't as "pretty" as the Proof barrels but I can live with that:)
