My wife has 12.inch Hoffman's and I have 14 inch Whites. We both grease the leather upper really good and use orthotics. Both are warm, comfortable, and durable. And both can be rebuilt which is a plus.
The way life should be.

I appreciate all the replies.
I'm going to try the Hoffmans.

I have Kenetrek Mountain Guides in 400 gram Checking both found Schnees did not make a 13 x wide so went with Kenetrek and am very happy with them

Have both also and like them although I use them more in early fall or if doing a lot of walking. I don't consider them a cold weather stand-hunting boot, at least not for me. Stand-hunting I need more insulation. I feel the same way. My feet get cold when Stand hunting. I have the hunter II, and the Extremes
