As a side note, the Wraith is much clearer with what you are seeing, than what it reflects on video.
I'm still learning. And I've learned to to turn the illuminator brightness up when videoing, even though I can see fine.
Real life distance I can see is much further than my capability to shoot. I can clearly see over 1000 yards. But have one mounted on a 7.62x39, and another on a .308 Win.
You may want to check into getting a shooting tripod when hunting at night. It clamps the rifle and provides full range of motion for shooting.
I have the Bog pod Deathgrip. It's a good option a lot of NV hunters are using.
