FOR A HUNTING RIFLE
What is the best choice for a stock that generally doesn’t need glass bedding, for ~350 or less? I like a fairly thin forearm and trigger grip area. Don’t need feather weight, but also don’t want a “log”. Action will be a Remington 700 with a # 3 contour Douglas barrel.
Also could use recommendation for similar stock for a savage long action with similar barrel.
