The CE43 is an “earlier” war rifle - and a JP Sauer build - better finish, more care in assembly. If the numbers are truly all matched, and none are forced matched - it’s worth more.
I’d expect it bring $1800-2000 for the bare rifle to a Mauser collector, not to be confused with a gun show hustler…
If the scope base residue is original, most likely a good bit more - odds are the same Mauser collector has, or knows of a set of bases - and there are good quality reproductions.
The DOT 44 is a solid rifle, typical later war finish. I think it’s about right at $1200, again assuming everything is original.
