I believe this to be a Borden Rimrock stock for a Rem 700 SA. It is in nice shape and fits a standard sporter barrel contour. Was glass bedded for the previous rifle. It has been cut way short for a youth rifle. With the spacers it has a 12.75” LOP.
There is a very small hairline crack at the top of the stock on both sides near the rear of the recoil lug. Some dummy tried to put a different rifle in it that didn’t fit perfect and when he tightened the action screws it caused the hairline. I would not even know it was there if it weren’t for the fact that I am that dummy and I saw it when I went to remove the action that was too snug. I don’t see it being a major issue with a properly bedded action but it is there and needs to be taken into consideration.
