I would like to get in to peep/iron sight shooting, and would like to trade a little. I am looking for a Mossberg 44 (any variation), or 42(any variation), or pretty much any of the 30's-50's Bolt Action, Magazine fed Mossberg rifles with peep sights.

I have here a Mossberg 340KA .22 S,L,LR Ac-Kro-Gruv for sale. Overall condition is 95%. The buttplate has what looks like a drip of finish across it, and I've never tried to get it off.

The rifle is unmodified except for a sear/firing pin stoning to crispen the pull, and the front of the bolt body is polished and dry lubed. instead of the "shiny" finish from the factory (guess they hardened it and put it together.)

Rifle enjoys Federal 510, Remington Subsonics, and SK Standard Plus. Best 5 shot group at 25 yards was with the Std Plus and measured .135". The rifle generally does better than .250". It has been tuned to Fat Wrench Specifications of 35 in/lb on the take down screw and recommended settings on all ring screws.
